When my husband, Ken, and I decided to update our wills, we reflected on the organizations that meant the most to our family. Immediately, our church and our school, Westminster, came to the top of our list. Our affiliation with Westminster began in 1980 when our first son, John, started ninth grade. For the next 16 years, many great teachers and coaches positively influenced the lives of all three of our sons - John, Thomas, and Michael.

Our lives were filled with anticipation as we cheered on our boys and their friends in the classroom and beyond. Fellow Westminster parents become lifelong friends. Through all of these experiences, I knew one day I would love to teach at Westminster. That dream came true in 1990 as I was hired to teach drama in the Lower School. I worked there for 21 years as a teacher and administrator and retired as Learning Team/Academic Coordinator in 2011. My job was very rewarding as I monitored the academic, social, and emotional needs of each student. Westminster means so much to the Carroll family and we know that Westminster will always be a part of us.
